Who runs this website

PaintBraille is offered free of charge and in a testing phase. There is no charge for using it, no products or services are sold, and it does not yet constitute an economic activity. If that changes, this notice will be expanded to include the information required by Article 10 of Spanish Law 34/2002.

About this website

PaintBraille is a tool for creating drawings on a six-point braille matrix and exporting them as real braille. It is currently being tested with a small group of people and there is no charge for its use.

Ownership

The program, its code, its design, its texts and the name PaintBraille belong to its owner. Being able to use the tool does not give the right to copy, redistribute, resell, publish or create derivative products.

What you draw is yours. We do not claim any rights over your drawings or what you export, among other reasons because they do not reach our server today.

References to the Spanish Braille Commission and other organisations are for information only and do not imply affiliation or sponsorship. PaintBraille uses third-party software and fonts. Their notices and licences are retained with each distribution or resource where applicable.

Using the tool

By using PaintBraille you agree not to attempt to damage the service, access third-party accounts or use it for anything illegal. The pilot's specific rules are in the terms of use.

Liability

PaintBraille is offered during the pilot as is, without warranty. It may fail, stop, or change. That's why it's a good idea to export and save your work: remember that drawings live in your browser, and deleting browser data deletes them.

We are not responsible for the content of the external websites to which we link.

Accessibility

We take accessibility seriously and pay particular attention to controls, keyboard interaction and messages. Even so, we want to be clear: the drawing canvas is a visual surface and currently does not provide an equivalent experience with a screen reader or braille display. Exporting does produce real braille. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, email us — your feedback helps.

Applicable law

Spanish law applies. If you are a consumer, you retain any rights granted by the law of your habitual place of residence.

The English version is for information purposes. If there is any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
